Marcos decided to change up his schedule and miss the Zagreb Open to return to Paris instead, where he will fine tune his preparations for the clay-court Grand Slam at Roland Garros. Marcos reached the fourth round at Roland Garros two years ago, when he lost to Russian Igor Andreev. Following his Roland Garros campaign, Marcos will turn his attentions to grass and play at two ATP World Tour 250 tennis tournaments in Halle and ‘s-Hertogenbosch before looking to emulate his 2006 Wimbledon semi-final success when he arrives at SW19. After Wimbledon, Marcos will return to Cyprus to participate in the Davis Cup clash with Ireland.
